In preparation for the installation of a "Free Little Library" and a "Storywalk," Woodland is coordinating a Book Swap/Sale during April and May. Bring your new or used books; donate or swap, and watch for details on creating Lake Norman's First Storywalk site. Swap/Sale hours Mondays 9 to noon; and Fridays noon to 4 through May or by appointment. (Lots of Adult or Children's books - Parent/Teacher resources - decorating books, some DVD's and Free VHS)
Saturday, APRIL 23; 9 am to Noon - Kids Nature Day, sponsored by Concord Wildlife Alliance and NC Wildlife Federation. Free and open to the public. Enjoy fishing, nature hikes, craft stations, information by wildlife experts, plantings, and more!

SUMMER CAMP LISTING IS UP on the Summer Camp Tab. Check out our new offerings as well as old favorites! Of particular interest - a Spanish/English camp to review language skills; wilderness survival; Advanced Archery and All-Summer Explores- even a session for 2-3 year olds. (If Archery fills as fast as last year, we may open new sessions. Make a note of availability on your registration.)
New! Woodland is pleased to announce an opportunity for outdoor explores for preschoolers at the Davidson Green School through May and taking registrations for 2016-2017 school year. 1 - 3 pm daily. You can sign up for any frequency or day combination you'd like. Email for information.
Drop-in Art on Fridays! 1-6 pm. Lots of materials for Process art experiences. You must call or email prior to noon on the day you'd like to come to confirm availability.
Also during the Drop-in hours, the property is open for outdoor play. Bring your own supervising adult.
