Our mission is to provide play-based, outdoor activities to build on children's sense of wonder, exploration, creativity, and self worth. We Believe that this can be accomplished by providing a resource-rich environment that intrigues and captivates the imaginations of children and prompts their desire to delve deeper into the learning process.

WE ARE ALWAYS INTERESTED IN DISCUSSING OUR PROGRAMS!
As a non-profit, with the goal of getting children outdoors, we are more inclined to add classes than turn you away. But early registration gives you the best chance of getting the days and programs you prefer!

FOREST PRESCHOOL (Ages 3 - 5)
Our premium preschool program at Woodland Discovery.
A TOUR WITH YOUR CHILD IS REQUIRED BEFORE YOU CAN REQUEST REGISTRATION MATERIALS.
Forest School is available from 9:00 - 12:00 (or 9:30-12:30) daily. Program runs from Labor Day to Memorial Day. You may choose 1 or up to 5 days per week. (Your child must be 3 by August 31 of the current year, and fully potty trained.) Email for a tour <woodlandsdiscovery@gmail.com>
FOREST SCHOOL ADVENTURE/HOMESCHOOL CLUB (Ages 5 -10)
Available at Woodland Discovery from 9 am-12:00 pm daily. You may choose 1 or up to 5 days per week. Program runs from Labor Day to Memorial Day.
HOMESCHOOL CLASSES (Ages 6 -12)
Classes offered Monday through Friday from 1:00- 4:00 pm
This is a sample of previous years topics. Specific topics are determined during the summer months prior to the school year.
Monday - Outdoor team-building games
Tuesday - Science Explorers
Wednesday - Nature Art
Archery
Thursday - Outdoor skills
Friday - Fibers
OTHER: WE CAN HELP WITH NATURE CLUBS, BIRTHDAY PARTIES, SCHOOL DAYS OUT, CAMPOUTS, COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS, ETC.
If you can dream it, we can probably do it!
