IMPORTANT INFORMATION
AGES
Age is determined by the child’s age on June 1, 2022. All children must be fully potty trained. There may be some age flexibility for siblings. Call before registering.
REGISTRATION
Forms are available by email at <woodlandsdiscovery@gmail.com> or on the website (BELOW), . Campers will be placed in camps in order of receipt of registration form and payment. You will receive an email confirmation of placement. Wait lists will be maintained
CAMP FEES
are due at time of registration. There is NO registration fee this year! The All-Summer Explore is $250 for up to 12 weeks. Five day camps are $125 and run from 9-noon or 1 to 4 PM.
FULL DAY OPTIONS
Campers ages 6+ may attend a morning camp and another in the afternoon with a supervised lunch time between. Just register for both camps.
DISCOUNTS:
SIBLINGS - Because we have eliminated registration fees, we have also eliminated sibling or multiple week discounts.
REFERRALS - $10 credit towards another camp when registration of referred person is paid in full. No limit.
ASSISTANT PAY - One child attends tuition-free in exchange for an adult assisting for the week.
SCHOLARSHIPS - We believe that no child should be excluded because of family finances. We maintain a scholarship fund. Often those with referral credits donate them to this fund. Please inquire.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Campers receive a guaranteed spot in the camp when full payment is received. Refunds are given until May 31 with a $50 cancellation fee. After May 31, camp fees are not refundable, but can be transferred to another week if space is available or to another camper. We reserve the right to cancel any camp that has less than 10 campers enrolled for a full refund.
WHAT TO BRING
Please wear sturdy shoes with closed toes and heels with socks!! No other shoe is acceptable and your child will not be allowed to stay. We will be outside, so please apply sunscreen and bug repellent before you come. Please bring an extra change of clothes to leave on site for the week. You will receive an email prior to your camp from the teacher letting you know of any other specific items to bring and what to expect for the week.
FOOD
We ask each child to bring their own snack (and lunch if they are staying a full day) and a water bottle. Label both with a name! We can provide water refills throughout the day.
ALLERGIES
Some camps prepare and eat additional snacks throughout the week. Teachers will try to accommodate specific needs, but teachers and parents may decide that a particular camp is not a safe environment for some allergies. If your child has other severe allergies, including bees, you must send a labeled Epipen to camp each day. Be sure to note ALL allergies on the registration form. A CPR/First Aid trained teacher is on site.
PICK UP – DROP OFF PROCEDURE
This will be explained in the email prior to each camp. Carpooling is encouraged. Late pick up – Please be considerate of our teaching staff and pick your child up on time. If you are more than 10 minutes late, you will be asked to pay a $10 late fee before returning.
What if my child suddenly cannot attend, or becomes ill?
You may “give” your slot to someone else, but they must fill out the forms and pay a $25 registration fee.
REQUIRED FORMS
(THE COMPLETED FORMS AND PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE YOUR CHILD RECEIVES THIER SPACE.)
